The Battery mod

The battery charges with a USB-C to USB cable. USB-C to USB-C cables are not compatible. This cable should be plugged into a 5V USB power supply (for example, a phone charger).

When the battery is charging, a red LED lights up on the side of the Game Boy. When the battery is 100% charged, the LED turns off.

When the battery is almost empty, an orange LED lights up on the side of the Game Boy.

There is no need to wait for the battery to be completely charged before unplugging it. Similarly, the battery does not need to be completely discharged before charging it.

If the battery is swollen or has a strange smell, unplug it and remove it, then contact me for a replacement. The battery comes with a 2-year warranty.
