Each GBA is built from an officially restored and refurbished motherboard. The components used to customize it are carefully selected to ensure you the best possible gaming experience.

The new shells and buttons are of very high quality and offer a feel close to the original. If you are looking for a specific shell, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss it.

Original shells in good condition are also available upon request. It is possible to mix and match the colors of the buttons and rubber pads to customize your console.

The IPS is a modern, high-contrast screen with vivid colors and adjustable brightness. It offers several display modes (classic, scanlines...) and is laminated, thus eliminating any risk of dust in the future.

The IPS MAX is larger than the classic IPS and allows you to enjoy Game Boy and Game Boy Color games in full screen. Its display area is about 14% larger than that of the classic IPS, with a resolution of 960 × 640 pixels for increased sharpness. It also offers the ability to customize the logo located under the screen, visible when the console is turned on.

I can also install an ITA TFT screen upon request. This screen is similar to that of the Nintendo DSi, combining retro and modern elements: the pixels are visible. I recommend it to those nostalgic for the AGS-101.

The installation of the new screen can be performed on an original shell or a new shell.

Unlike classic battery mods integrated into the battery cover, the battery mod I install integrates its charging circuit directly into the GBA, thus preventing the battery from overheating while charging. It is the only safe battery mod.

The battery offers 7 to 11 hours of battery life depending on usage. It recharges with a standard 5V charger and a USB to USB-C cable. The USB-C port is located on the top of the GBA, next to the link port. While charging, an indicator LED lights up at the main LED position. This battery mod replaces the batteries.

The GBA’s original sound is relatively quiet, and it suffers from interference caused by the IPS screen, which consumes more power than the original display.

The audio enhancement reduces this interference on both the speaker and the headphone jack. It also increases the volume and provides clearer sound by installing a new 2W speaker.

Capacitors are components with a limited lifespan. When they stop working, it can lead to various malfunctions. Replacing them extends the console's lifespan.

The RGB LEDs are located at the A, B, START, SELECT buttons and the D-pad. Brightness and colors are adjustable via button combinations. Several modes are available: static LEDs, dynamic, etc. It is, of course, possible to turn the LEDs off.

The AGBM is the ultimate GBA: it improves sound, power consumption, and battery life, while integrating new features like a button-combination reset. With the addition of a rechargeable battery, the AGBM can also take advantage of accelerated charging by using a fast charger.

This motherboard is manufactured using new components and parts from an original GBA (CPU and RAM). If your GBA is completely broken, this PCB is ideal for giving it a second life!
