A video game enthusiast since I was a little kid, my first handheld console was a Game Boy Color accompanied by Pokémon Red. My first home console was a Saturn, which I later sold to buy a GameCube with Luigi’s Mansion.

I was quickly fascinated by the 8 and 16-bit era, which I first discovered through ports (rare at the time) and Nintendo’s Virtual Console. It was only natural that I later wanted to acquire the original hardware, and that is how I fell into collecting...

I started modifying consoles in 2017, taking apart my own, then repairing ones I found at garage sales (back then, it was much easier to find them). These experiences quickly gave birth to a true passion, which I share today on social media: Instagram, Bluesky, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Facebook. I also host live streams on Twitch every Wednesday morning, where I showcase my work.

Over time, between repairs, modding, restorations, and many trials (and errors!), I created “Modding Marius” to develop my skills and know-how.

Today, I continue this activity with passion and am constantly improving the modifications I offer. I mainly work on consoles up to the PS2 / GameCube / Xbox generation... but perhaps one day I will go further; once the Switch has become retro?
