IPS and AMOLED are modern, high-contrast displays with vivid colors and adjustable brightness. They offer several display modes (classic, scanlines, etc.) and are laminated, eliminating any risk of dust getting in over time. They are 25% larger than the original screen.
The IPS with illuminated logo lets you customize the color of the "Game Boy Color" logo below the screen when it is turned on.
AMOLED offers greater contrast and saturation than IPS. Blacks are deep because the pixels don't light up against a black background, slightly improving battery life (by about 10%).
An IPS screen can be installed in either an original shell or a new shell.
